Polygala fruticosa Petite Butterfly is a compact form of Sweet Pea shrub, growing to about 2' tall by about 3' wide. The foliage is denser than the standard polygala and has a distinct and quite attractive blue-green tone. The flower color is about the same, light violet purple, and flowers appear from late winter through late summer with scattered bloom possible at any time. Like all polygala is enjoys a full sun to part shade location.
